Treasury have pointed out that Figures

of annual recurrent expenditure in paragraph 3

of your telegram are close to those in University

Advisory Committee's Report for recurrent

expenditure on larger project. Presumably this

is due partly to fact that, through no fault of

theirs, Committee's Estimates are inadequate

and out of date. Would you also deal with this

point when putting up proposals referred to above?
